Amanda Blake, born Beverly Louise Neill on February 20, 1929, and died on August 16, 1989. She was an American actress who is most famous for her character as Miss Kitty Russell, a red-haired saloon owner in the film Gunsmoke. Amanda Blake was first seen in the 1950 film "Stars In My Crown". She was also in the films 'Duchess Of Idaho" and "Counterspy Meets Scotland Yard" the same year. Then, she was featured in the drama "Schlitz Playhouse of Stars. The American actress was offered the opportunity to be part of the 1953 film 'Lili' and Sabre Jet.
