Biography - Sasha Alexander

Sasha Alexander is of ethnic Serbian descendance. She was born Suzana S.Drobnjakovic in Los Angeles. In the seventh grade, she started acting in school productions. She was also an ice skater however she was forced to stop due to an injury to her knee. In high school, she resumed to act and went on to college. She relocated to New York to perform in Shakespeare festivals and summer stock. She was a graduate of the University of Southern Calif's School of Cinema-Television. There she was also an active member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Sasha started her acting career at the age of high school. In the seventh grade, she made her debut as an actor. When she was 14 years old she was a member of 'Everything Nice the band, a popular group. The most memorable performance of Sasha Alexander was as 'Special Agent Caitlin in the popular television show 'NCIS. She played the character in the second season from 2003-2005. Sasha was briefly back in the role she was in the second (2005 guest appearance) season. She was married to Edoardo Ponti (an Italian director and father of Sophia Loren). The wedding took place on August 11 the 11th of August, 2007. They had two kids: Lucia was born in 2006 and Leonardo in 2010.
