Alexandra Rose Curry was born on May 27, 1987, in California and was the daughter of Tim Curry and Peggy Curry. The fourth child of four born to her parents. Her mother, Peggy Curry, is the brain behind Growing Great. This charity provides children with nutrition education and techniques for gardening based on science. Her father is the owner and director of an organic energy drink business. After graduating Mira Costa High School she attended San Diego State University.
