Rita Ora, a British singer-songwriter. Rita Sahatciu Ora was born in 1990 in Pristina (Kosovo) to Vera (Bajraktari) and Besnik Sahatciu. Besim Sahatciu is her granddaughter. When she was just one, her family made the decision to move to England. She was raised in West London and attended St Cuthbert with St Matthias CE Primary School in Earls Court, following which she graduated from Sylvia Young Theatre School and the following year, St Charles Catholic Sixth Form College. She began singing from a young age.In 2004, she appeared in the British film Spivs. After a successful audition for Eurovision: Your Country needs You (BBC One), she was chosen to represent Britain in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. She later pulled out of the competition after a few episodes because she believed that the stage was not in good condition. Ora has released her first album in 2007, when she appeared in the Craig David song "Awkward" and then she made an appearance in 2008 on "Where’s Your Love" with TinchyStryder. Ora began singing in bars in and around London In 2009, A&R reported to Roc Nation about Ora, just a few days following Ora took a flight to New York and met Jay-Z. In 2009, Ora made a cameo on Jay-Z's music video for "Young Forever" and "Over" by Drake. Jay-Z took note of Ora and shrewdly signed her up to Roc Nation. She was featured in a commercial featuring Skullcandy Aviator Headphones. Her father Besnik was the owner of a pub, and she began her singing career in that pub. She credits Gwen Stefani as a major influence in terms of demeanor and her No Doubt band's "Don't speak" (1996) as one of her most cherished songs.Her 2016 video for Tezenis, The Silk Code, is the title of a novel which has won the Locus Award for Best First Science Fiction Novel of 1999.She was thought of to play Iris West in Justice League (2017) before Kiersey Cymons was cast. Kate Moss, Ed Sheeran as well as their friends.
