Los Angeles, California in 1970. Her parents moved to Dallas, Texas shortly
after her birth. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School,
Performing and Visual Arts which is located in the Arts District. After that,
she earned a BFA diploma in acting at Stephens College and also studied at the
British American Drama Academy. She also spent six years at the Dallas Theatre
Center, and one year with the Encore Company. Prior to her big screen debut she

"Measure for Measure", and "Chicago" in addition to as
numerous other productions. Her first big break came when she starred alongside
Angelina Jolie in Michael Cristofer's well-known HBO telefilm Gia (1998)
endearing her to audiences and critics, alike. Elizabeth showed off her
charismatic acting talent after Frequency (2001 with Dennis Quaid) and Neil
LaBute's sci-fi time travel film Nurse Betty ((2000) with Rene Zellweger).
Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor with a wide range of credits, including films,
TV shows and theaters. During filming Frequency ((2000)), she broke her nose.
