Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. She is of English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish heritage. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated from the school with a diploma in math and also a high jump competition. Columbia University in New York City allowed her to double major in math and economics. She began modeling, and launched her career in the industry with work with a number of prestigious companies, including Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. Rachel began to explore acting, and was offered a role in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). It was her first audition. In the prequel Dumb and Dumberer, When Harry met Lloyd (2003) her character was the first actress to play Jessica Matthews. She continued to be successful with roles in such projects as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009, Criminal Minds 2005 (a recurring part in the role of FBI Agent Ashley Seaver), and Conan the Barbarian 2011 She was the lead character of police officer Kiera Cameron on the science fiction drama Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in math and economics.
